Ann Arbor is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Ann Arbor follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. Ordered the Black Tonkatsu Ramen, which has become my favorite, and Love Potion sushi roll. Me and a few coworkers have been coming here almost every paycheck after work for the past few months after learning about this place. We were so impressed by the Ramen that we wanted to come back to try more of the menu each time. Now its become our usual plans after getting paid and has definitely become my favorite place to eat. The staff and service have always been great and the food has never disappointed. We normally get there just before the rush so it can get a little busy. I think the prices look bit high at first glance, but the portions you receive match the price and the quality makes it well worth it. Me and my friends still see ourselves coming here frequently in the future.

Went to this place after work. There are plenty of parking & its free parking. When you 1st walk in, the place has a fun vibe. It is family friendly & looks like a local staple. I'm glad we made reservations early as it gets busy quickly for dinner. Food is very creative, colorful, and tasty ! Flying noodle with Lobster & shrimp is delicious. The poke tuna with avocado & tortilla chips was a beautiful decorated volcano & addictive. The pork belly buns & shrimp buns was ok. The ramen noodles were delicious it is loaded that I couldn't finish. My favorite was the big Unagi sushi roll & the spicy edamame as it is char grilled & super tasty ! They give you your money's worth & huge portions. The service can be a bit slow & they forgot my take out order & forget to refill our drinks..Our waitress with the black bobbed hair was too busy socializing instead of paying attention to our order & did not give our bill in a timely fashion. We had to ask her twice for our food to go & the bill. The guys on the other hand work very hard busing & cleaning the tables. This place is under rated and has so much potential to be recognized even further due to their incredible presentation & tasty meal

This was an exceptional dining experience. I highly recommend the flying noodle dish with lobster and shrimp, they Kobe fried rice with kimchi, and the nigiri was top-notch. To be honest, we got way more food then we probably should have , I had money to go containers, but everything was even delicious after the fact. My favorite part was despite all the food we had the whole meal was quite affordable. I can’t wait to go back and maybe try the sushi push-ups. I truly love this place.

Godaiko is truly one of Ann Arbor’s hidden gems. From the moment you walk in, the customer service is outstanding and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The menu is packed with amazing traditional Japanese options, and the sushi bar is on a whole other level with creative, fresh, and exciting rolls you won’t find just anywhere. I highly recommend checking out both their lunch and dinner menus because there’s so much to love on each. Their bar menu is just as impressive, filled with unique and delicious drinks that pair perfectly with the food. The staff is always happy to give recommendations and trust me, you should absolutely trust them. My go to sushi order is the Wild Roll and the River Dragon and they never disappoint. If you’re in Ann Arbor and love great food, Godaiko is a must. 🍣🍢
